The Jewellery Quarter Business Improvement District (JQBID) has appointed Digital Glue, a creative communications and design agency based in Digbeth, to deliver the design, editorial, and print of its quarterly magazine.
JQ Life Magazine, formerly known as Quarter Life Magazine, will celebrate the Jewellery Quarter’s diverse mix of businesses and individuals, and showcase the activities and achievements of JQBID and its umbrella body, the Jewellery Quarter Development Trust (JQDT). Business owners and residents in the Jewellery Quarter will be actively invited to contribute to JQ Life, as the magazine seeks to offer a platform to the various voices of the JQ community.

“After a competitive pitch process, we are excited to be working with Digital Glue on this publication. One of the aims of the tender was to explore the evolution of the magazine whilst retaining its core objective to deliver content that promotes the vibrant mix of people and businesses in the Jewellery Quarter. Combined with a strong editorial and design vision for ‘JQ Life’, we were impressed by Digital Glue’s experience in producing magazines and working for other Business Improvement Districts in Birmingham.”

The first issue of JQ Life will be published at the end of June and will be available for free across the Jewellery Quarter and wider Birmingham.
