Jewellery Quarter Historic Pavement Trails

Reading Time: < 1 minute

The Jewellery Quarter is full of historic stories waiting to be discovered, and two specially designed pavement trails bring its history to life. The Charm Bracelet Trail, starting at the bottom of Newhall Hill (look out for the heart-shaped charm), takes you on an exploration through the heart of the Quarter.

The Findings Trail highlights the achievements and stories of those who lived and worked in the area. Beginning on Newhall Street, it sheds light on the people and industries that shaped the Quarter’s character.

The Streets That Shaped the Jewellery Quarter

These trails uncover the area’s heritage, guiding you along notable streets—Newhall Hill and Frederick Street for The Charm Bracelet Trail, and Newhall Street and Graham Street for The Findings Trail.

The Charm Bracelet Trail was created by acclaimed public artists Mick Thacker and Mark Renn, whose other works include installations at Warwickshire County Cricket Ground and Centro Information Points. At the start of the trail, you’ll find a padlock—a nod to the charm bracelet theme.
