Lilleburn, Fey Militia & Jessie Desai
Formed in August 2018, Lilleburn are a Birmingham based indie pop duo comprised of Ross Tidmus and Tom James. Taking influence from 80’s alternative acts such as The Cure, Tears For Fears and Gary Newman, then mixing it with their love for modern pop sounds and the personal lyrics from the mind of Ross, to form a fresh, artsy style of their own.
They spent the summer of 2018 writing, recording and self producing their energetic music. Releasing their debut single ‘Boys/Girls/Hearts’ on September 30th of 2018, getting them played multiple times on BBC Coventry and Warwickshire. Shortly after they supported BLOXX on a sold out show in Birmingham, establishing Lilleburn in the indie scene. In December they had their first headline show; which was almost sold out. In conjunction to the headline show Lilleburn released ‘Tell Me I’m Pretty’ which was picked my more local radio stations and gain them more fans. ‘Tell Me I’m Pretty’ was also put on the A-list of BRUM Radio with the likes of JAWS and Jorja Smith.
Fey Militia are a four piece indie rock band inspired by the likes of Blondie, Fleetwood Mac, The Breeders, Siouxsie and The Banshees, Wolf Alice, and The Cranberries.
They formed in 2015 after meeting at the University of Warwick. After spending several years in basements crafting and refining their sound they released their first EP, Mabel, in April 2019. Their touring has taking them to stages all across the country from Leeds to Glastonbury.
Jessie Desai is a singer-songwriter from Walsall and has been musically trained from the age of 8. Singing her own pop-folk driven songs, she gigs all over the country whilst also making radio appearances.
