Drink & Draw: Life Drawing

Join Drink & Draw hostess, Flic, for a relaxed evening of life drawing and fizz! Flic is a Birmingham based artist with a weakness for white wine and doodling. Sharing her love of art through sociable Drink & Draw sessions, Flic welcomes all abilities and levels to her inclusive events.What to expect:This is not a traditional art class, this is about inclusivity, creativity and, of course, having a little bevvy. Once everyone has a glass of fizz, you’ll start the evening with some drawing exercises to get you warmed up. Then you’ll move onto the model poses. Flic will be there to guide you through the evening but this is about expressing yourself rather than being taught traditional techniques.You’ll be using a variety of materials including, pencil, pen, charcoal and felt tip. All art supplies will be provided for you but you are welcome to bring your own. Please note that there will be no liquid materials (paint, ink etc.) and this is a seated event (no easels).But I can’t draw!?No problem at all! This is a welcoming and inclusive experience, open to all abilities.What drinks are included?2 glasses of Prosecco are included with your ticket.Please note there will not be food or other drinks available for purchase.Flic wants to increase representation in life drawing so is keen to hear from female, non-binary, queer or LGBTQAI+ people from all ethnicities of all shapes, abilities & sizes who would be open to modelling.
