Freedom from Torture is the only UK charity that is dedicated to providing holistic rehabilitation support to survivors of torture. From our West Midlands centre we provide psychological therapy and medical, legal and practical assistance to survivors of torture who live in Birmingham and the surrounding areas. Our clients come from countries all over the world where war and violent conflict make normal life impossible and torture is used by state security forces, state sponsored agents and other groups involved in conflict with tragic consequences for individuals, families and societies.
