Work is currently being carried out on the brick crossovers on Dayus Square. The contractor, Parade Civil, will upgrade the crossovers to a dark granite finish. The material they are using to place the setts doesn’t work in low temperatures, so please note the contractor will not always be present on site.

The following road are affected by the works:

– Albion Street

– Carver Street

– Legge Lane

Parade Civil will limit the disruption to businesses as much as possible. Roads will only be closed for the required duration to undertake the works.

Works should be completed on Monday 3rd February, so the temporary traffic management can be removed to ensure the roads reopen to traffic the following day (4th).
