Gerald Hudson, and his wife Susan, from Leeds were the lucky winners of the Jewellery Quarter BID’s competition for a one night’s stay in the area.

After his trip, Gerald said: “We both had a very enjoyable weekend. The factory tour at The Museum of the Jewellery Quarter, was our highlight. We were also impressed by the wide range of jewellery shops along the main street and had a lovely leisurely lunch at The Queens Arms on Newhall Street. Our evening meal at The Drop Forge was delicious. With tasty, well-cooked food, excellent service and a good selection of well kept beers, it was the perfect ending to our day out before retiring to our room at the Bloc hotel.”

The competition was promoted as part of Visit Birmingham’s Christmas campaign. The JQ BID would like to thank all the businesses that contributed to the prize.
