Kerrie Henry-Edge, Fundraising Officer for Birmingham Mind, based here in the Jewellery Quarter was shortlisted for the Rising Star of the Year 2024, in the 25+ employees catagory at the Midlands Service Excellence Awards and was announced as the winner this week at the award ceremony on 7th March 2024.

Kerrie said:

‘What a way to celebrate my 2nd anniversary at Birmingham Mind. To be recognised for all I have achieved in that short space of time means the world to me. Everyone knows how much I love what I do and how passionate I am about raising awareness for Mental Health. 

Thank you so much to everyone I have met over the past 2 years who have supported me in my role. Especially my Manager Danny Booth and for putting together my nomination.

Thank you to Henrik Court for working hard to put together last nights awards to recognise so many fantastic people and organisations. Thank you to the judges who had such a hard job to pick the over all winners. Congratulations to all the winners.’
