Bakery Celebrates Grand Opening with Valentine’s Day Launch Event

Brutally Honest Bakery is thrilled to announce the opening of its first-ever customer cake counter on Valentine’s Day, 14th February. To mark this special occasion, the bakery will host a launch event focusing on treating yourself and showing care for others, a celebration that proves everyone, regardless of dietary requirements, deserves delicious treats.
The event, taking place from 8:30am to 2pm, will feature complimentary treats as well as coffee served by ‘There Goes the Coffee,’ Birmingham-based coffee pop-up specialists. Attendees will also have the chance to win a variety of exciting prizes, including free slabs and selection boxes, discounts on future orders, and more. Pop in but be quick, complimentary treats and coffee will be available on a first-come, first-served basis!
The bakery will also be launching some special products especially for Valentines including an indulgent Sponge Selection Box for store collection, featuring four delicious sponges: a
gorgeous new Raspberry and Chocolate sponge with chocolate chips topped with raspberry-flavoured buttercream, tangy Lemon Sponge, Toffee Apple, and Banoffee Cake. For postal orders, there will be a Valentine’s Banoffee Rocky Road mini size (6 slabs), perfect for sharing or as a treat for yourself.
The bakery’s counter will officially open to customers from 8:30 to 2pm every Wednesday-Friday, and is located on Spencer Street in the Jewellery Quarter. Customers can expect a
full range of allergen-free treats that cater to dietary restrictions without compromising on flavour.
Brutally Honest Bakery, founded by Amy Clarkson, began as a mother’s mission to find delicious allergy-friendly treats to accommodate her son’s dietary needs. Since its launch in 2017 as a wholesale business supplying local coffee shops and eateries in Birmingham and beyond, the bakery has expanded to include an online pay-and-collect service. Now, it takes the next big step by opening a counter, offering its full range of renowned ‘Big Fat Slabs’ directly to customers.
