Artisan Alchemy Gallery on Caroline Street is celebrating its first anniversary since opening in the Quarter in 2016.
The gallery has brought together some of the highest quality bespoke design and craftsmanship from the UK and Ireland. Here in Birmingham, you can see examples of unique furniture design and exceptional craftsmanship that are undoubtedly the antiques of the future. To celebrate its first anniversary in the Quarter, the gallery is hosting an event on Thursday 23rd March from 4:30pm. The event will feature a talk by Armando Magnino who will be discussing his furniture practice and acclaimed jeweller and gallery owner Michele White will be showcasing her innovative collections in precious metals and gemstones alongside jewellers who have developed their own unique style of jewellery creating handmade unique ‘one-off’ pieces. The winner of their latest prize draw worth £120 will also be announced.
Set in a renovated historic industrial building the gallery also houses workshops for artisans alongside the gallery space. Artisan Alchemy aims to create an artistic hub; offering bench space for jewellers and workshops perfect for start- up, small, and creative businesses on Caroline street, which has just undergone a transformation into an attractive new boulevard.
Items found in Artisan Alchemy make stunning additions for your home, a present for a loved one or you may wish to commission something special.
