Local Jewellery Quarter landmark, Anderson’s Bar and Grill, won not only ‘Restaurant of the Year’ for the West Midlands category, but also the 2018 Restaurant of the Year at the Food awards England on Monday 15th October 2018.
The Food Awards England said, “These awards recognised the achievements of local suppliers who always provide the community with the freshest of products and specialists who work hard within their establishments to deliver great experiences to their diners. The winners are a true reflection of the professionalism, dedication and talent that flow within the English food industry.”
Specialising in British rare and native breed beef, and with local ingredients at the forefront of its menu, Anderson’s has proved a strong contender over the years at the Food Awards England. They have now won Restaurant of the Year West Midlands for the fourth year in a row. This year’s awards gave extra cause for celebration with Anderson’s also winning the overall Restaurant of the Year 2018 across the regional categories.
“It’s fantastic to have won Restaurant of the Year West Midlands for the fourth year in a row, and we’re even more delighted to have landed the overall Restaurant of the Year 2018 award! We’re beyond proud to be representing Birmingham nationally, and of our passionate and hard-working team” said Anderson’s Chef Director, Daniel Anderson.
Anderson’s also won ‘Best Steak House’ in the 2018 Midlands Food, Drink & Hospitality awards back in June, and the award-winning restaurant has been shortlisted for ‘Restaurant of the Year’ in the 2018 Birmingham Awards which is due to take place on 24th November at the Edgbaston Stadium.
