1000 Trades is bringing new life to a listed building in the industrial heart of Birmingham, famously referred to as ‘city of a thousand trades’ during the industrial revolution. We celebrate and champion all forms of craft; starting with an ever evolving beer selection, natural, organic wine, running through kitchen residencies by local food entrepreneurs – all to a soundtrack prepared in partnership with Birmingham’s thriving music community and the work of local artists showcased throughout the building.

We seek to be a neighbourhood bar in the traditional sense, a throwback to the days where the pubs were the beating heart of the local communities. Spaces are available for community and private events and we are particularly keen to support activities consistent with our craft philosophy
