Learning in the Cemeteries
Almost 200 years old, the two historic Cemeteries of Key Hill and Warstone Lane are both Grade II registered historic gardens and include some unusual catacombs.  Burial place of politicians and inventors from the Chamberlain Family through to Alfred Bird, inventor of eggless custard!

Groundwork Birmingham & Solihull worked with 10 schools local to the Jewellery Quarter to educate and raise awareness around the importance of Warstone Lane and Key Hill Cemeteries as key heritage sites in Birmingham.  Artwork was produced which was incorporated into permanent Interpretation panels designed by Groundwork Birmingham & Solihull.

Guidance for Teachers
Groundwork Birmingham and Solihull have produced a wide range of Curriculum Material for Key Stages 2, 3 and 4 relating to learning in the Jewellery Quarter Cemeteries.
